Welcome to the JUCHARI UINAPIKUA Purepecha Project site! The Purepecha Project is an effort to restore and flourish the elements of Food, Language, Music and Danza in the Mexicano/Michoacano community residing in the San Joaquin Valley. This is a collaborative made up of bilingual Purepecha's based in the San Joaquin Valley. Here you will find information on all the resources we know of regarding the Purepecha local/regional events, Language, Culture, History and the latest anthropological findings. If you are interested in the Purepecha Project we invite you to help us unfold the goals we have to create a vibrant community in the San Joaquin Valley and California! You can request to participate in our activities, don't hesitate to contact someone in our circle should you have any questions.
